Do I need any experience?
None. Module one assumes you have never put a dog on a table. You start with setup and handling, and you only pick up clippers once your dog is comfortable being handled.
Is it safe to groom my own dog?
With the right setup and pace, yes. Every risky step (nails, clippers near skin, drying) comes with a safety check. The course is not veterinary advice: if you see skin problems, wounds, lumps or signs of pain, stop and see your vet.
My dog panics at grooming. Will this still work?
Module four is built for that dog. It shows how to build tolerance in short sessions and read stress signals early. Some dogs need a vet or a professional groomer for certain tasks, and the course tells you how to recognise that.
