This policy explains how personal data is handled when you visit groommethod.com or buy The Groom Method. It is written to meet the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD).

Data controller

What we collect and why

Purchase data (name, email, country, what you bought, payment status) to deliver the Course, give support, handle refunds and keep records required by law. Legal basis: performance of a contract and legal obligation. Card and payment details are collected by Hotmart, not by us.

Messages you send us to answer you. Legal basis: contract or legitimate interest in providing support.

Marketing cookies (Meta Pixel), only if you click "Accept all" in the cookie banner, to measure and improve our advertising. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer.

Marketing emails, only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe with one click in any email.

Who receives your data

Service providers that help us run the business: Hotmart (payments, invoicing and the members area), our website host (Hostinger), our email provider, and Meta Platforms (only with your consent). We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

We are based in Brazil, and some providers process data outside your country, including in Brazil and the United States. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

How long we keep it

Purchase and tax records for as long as the law requires (usually up to 5 years). Support messages for up to 2 years. Marketing data until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time, by writing to hello@groommethod.com. We reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, or in Brazil to the ANPD.
